The revolution has dedicated exercises for arms, shoulders and back, legs and glutes, and a full core and abs workout. It is sleek and futuristic to look at, comfortable to sit on and use, and smooth in its motion. It will look beautiful in your bedroom or gym. This machine looks awesome, and you’ll have no choice but to use it. It also comes with an easy to follow workout DVD for inspiration.

Pros and Cons

Owners who prefer the Revolution home gym love it, and this seems to be the majority of users. You can start at any level of fitness and work up to achieve your body goals. You can reach all over improved strength, performance and weight loss.

Reviewers state that they enjoy using the machine and see real results. This fitness equipment provides a fantastic low impact routine which can be used to help people recovering from injury. The trainer is quiet and durable and comfortable to use with a large variety of choices of exercises and workouts.

Smaller people have complained that it is too hard to change the weights on the machine without a second person’s assistance. People have stated that the gym is hard to set up and can be hard to use, taking a while to get the hang of switching between modes and exercises.

The machine works on pulley systems which can be extended in many ways, being that it may be easy to do an exercise wrong without knowing it, working the incorrect muscles or possibly injuring yourself. It is sizeable and bulky, needing a large dedicated area of its own in your home.

Summary

Perhaps not the machine for you; unless you’re dedicated to undertaking a regular strength training regime. The gym is large and expensive, and you need to be a bit committed to it. However, if you are, you will most likely be overjoyed with your results and with the Bowflex itself.

I love my new Revolution! I’ve always been an avid cardio junky. I bike, swim, and jog. But after buying subscriptions to a couple different muscle magazines, I decided to take it to the next level. I got my home gym a few weeks ago and started working out right away. I’m doing abs work, preacher presses, bench pressing, leg work and more. This why it’s so great. I can do everything I want without a having a room full of equipment. I especially like that I can use either the free weights or resistance. I’m getting awesome results, and it looks so 2020! It ain’t cheap but it’s well worth the money IMO.
